1. Who We Are
Assistant Focus ("we", "us", "our") is a social study tracking web application built by an independent developer (Okan). The app is accessible at asisfocus.com.
2. What We Collect
When you create an account or use the app, we may collect:
- Account information: email address and display name you provide at registration.
- Study data: subject hours, Pomodoro sessions, streaks, tasks and goals you log.
- Usage data: session activity, feature interactions and app preferences (e.g. language, grade level, custom subjects).
- Device info: browser type and general device type — used only for compatibility.
We do not collect payment information, phone numbers, or precise location data.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and improve the app's features (timer, leaderboard, group rooms, social feed).
- To display your study statistics and rankings to you and, where you opt in, to other users.
- To maintain your account and preferences across sessions.
- To analyze aggregate usage trends and fix bugs (via Firebase Analytics).
We never sell, rent or share your personal data with third-party advertisers.
4. Who Can See Your Data
By default, your display name, study hours and leaderboard rank are visible to other logged-in users of the app. You can adjust your privacy settings in your profile.
Your email address is never shown to other users.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the app:

- Google Analytics: anonymous usage statistics. You can opt out via browser extensions.
These services may process data on servers outside your country. By using Assistant Focus you agree to this processing.
6. Data Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and study records are permanently removed from our database within 30 days.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information in your profile.
- Delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app settings.
- Export your study data — contact us and we'll send it in a readable format.

8. Cookies
We use only functional cookies required to keep you logged in and remember your preferences (language, theme). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
9. Children's Privacy
Assistant Focus is intended for users aged 13 and older. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will remove their data promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised policy.
